Wilton Pritchard Rawls, 87 of Hopkins Rd., died Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Williamston House.

Wilton was born on March 26, 1936, in Bertie County, to the late Mack Gilbert and Liza Pritchard Rawls. He retired as an insurance adjuster and farmer. He was a member of Second Chance Ministries. Wilton served his country in the US Navy.

Survivors include; Lizzie Baker Rawls of the home; daughter, Teresa Rawls of Knightdale; sister, Jewel Mitchell (John) of Windsor; step-daughters, Brenda Ward of Blackstone, Va, Susan Hyatt (Robert), Deborah (Amanda) Mauldin, Lisa (Amber) Thomas, Mary Hardison (Frankie), Angie Street (Jason); step-sons, Milton Mizelle of Windsor, Tommy Taylor (Addie); grandchildren, Tyler Whaley (Morgan) of Loganville Ga, Dalton Whaley, Taylor Lewis (Levi), Matt Mizelle (Abby), Renee Fernandez(Keith Cottrell), Gretchen Courter (James); great grandchildren, Ashton Whaley, Madison Whaley, Beckham Lewis, Caroline Mizelle, Catherine Mizelle, Marlee Fernandez and Reid Gunn; step-grandchildren, Suzanne Goff, Stephanie Hyatt, Michael Hyatt, Frank Hardison (Hollie), Isaiah Taylor, Isabel Taylor; JC Denton, Dustin Denton and Shane Denton.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 1:00pm at New Life Church 6900 Zebulon Road, Wake Forest NC 27587 with Pastor Ron Brisson officiating.

A second memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Second Chance Ministries in Hamilton, NC with Pastor Tommy Taylor, and Rev. Roger Leggett officiating.
