Sgt. William Stanley White 67, of Hwy 13 North, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022. He was born in Bertie County October 17, 1954, to the late Stanley K. " Frog" and Mary Louise Everett White. Stan was an incredibly talented singer and musician. He was a former radio personality with WDRP and was a member of the beach music band the Patriots. Stan and Johnnie Bryant worked together at the Christian station in Williamston. Stan joined the Edenton Police and rose to the rank of Sergeant and had 17 years of service. He was the owner of Lighthouse Studios.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Perrytown Assembly of God. Rev. McCray Dove and Johnnie Bryant will officiate. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Jarvis White of the home; daughters, Stephanie Renee Duncan (Andrew), Shellie Ann Cahoon all of Washington, Zelphia Daley of Goldsboro, Ashpley Marie Matthews (Kelly) of Winterville; son, Tony Mozingo; brother, Stewart J. White (Hope) of Colerain; grandchildren, Anderson Hardee Duncan, Grayson Russell Duncan, kaleigh Ann Cahoon, Kaden Autrey Cahoon, Paisley Daley, Tanner Mozingo, Christopher Daley, Samantha Duncan.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 6- 7:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home and from the home at other times.
