William Alton Perry, 82, of US 17 North, passed away October 8. 2021 at the Brian Center in Windsor. He was born in Bertie County September 18, 1939, to the late Rayford Wilson and Willie Mae Warren Perry and predeceased by a daughter, Karen Emily Perry; sister, Betty Rae Perry, and brother, George "Frosty" E. Perry. William was an inspector with the NC Department of Agriculture.

A private funeral service will be held in Hillcrest Cemetery, Colerain.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patricia Elaine Warren Perry of the home; daughter, Melinda Amy Perry; grandchildren, Christian B. Craddock, and Caroline Grace Craddock.
