William 'David' Mizelle, 58 of Thomasville Lane passed away in the late evening hours of March 10, 2025 at his residence. William was born to the now deceased, Charles and Alma Mizelle on March 23, 1966 he was a graduate of Bertie High School and worked for Ross Phelps Logging until his health no longer permitted. David was married for 13 years to the love of his life Lettie Mizelle. William enjoyed spending time with his family, riding golf carts and crushing cans. William also had a very profound love for his church Ebenezer Assembly of God.

A visitation will be held on Friday evening, March 14, 2025 from 6:00 PM Until 7:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home of Windsor and other times at the home of his sister and sister-in-law, Rose and Cindy Mizelle 126 N. Railroad St. Askewville.

William is survived by his wife, Lettie Mizelle of the home, son, Franklin Pierce of Windsor;  a daughter, Sarah Edmondson also of Windsor, brothers: Billy Mizelle (Rose) and Bradley Mizelle of Windsor, Dusty Mizelle of Pennsylvania; sisters: Rose Mizelle (Cindy) of Askewville, Brenda Russell (Alvin) of Windsor, Betty Thomas of Windsor and Kristy Santiago (Nathaniel) of Greenville.

A funeral service will be held at Ebenezer Assembly of God on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM with pastor Tim Parker officiating and music provided by Stephanie Cottle. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery with the following serving as Pallbearers: Timothy Phelps, Justin Mizelle, Karl Lee, Michael Cullipher, Charlie Cullipher and Franklin Pierce.
