William Jesse Coffield, 64 of 9752 NC 903 died Monday, July 30, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Coffield was born in Martin County on July 17, 1954 to the late Lloyd Coffield and Arellia Harrington Coffield. He was a retired truck driver with Johnson Mercantile and attended Life Builders Church of God. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, James Coffield.

Survivors include; wife, Karen Mizelle Coffield of the home; sons, Christopher Coffield of Hamilton and Ryan Coffield of Williamston; brothers, Sammy Coffield and Charles Coffield of Washington and Henry Coffield of Colerain; sisters, Joyce Sherrill of Boone and Libby Wobbleton of Tarboro; three (3) grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Williamston with Rev. Warren Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the funeral home and other times from the home.
