William "Billy" Madison Cale 79, of Old US 17 North, died Friday April 12, 2019 at his home. He was born February 23, 1940 in Bertie County to the late Albert Duncan and William "Willie" Ann Asbell Cale and was predeceased by his sisters, Christine Cale Johnson and Mary Howell.  Billy was a US Army Veteran and retried insurance agent.  He was an active member of Greens Cross Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marion Johnson Cale of the home; daughter, Lynn Cale of Windsor; son, Chris Cale and wife Ashlyn of Greenville; brother, Albert "Jack" Cale of Mechanicsville, VA and granddaughter, Madison Cale.

A memorial service will be held at Greens Cross Baptist Church on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Memorial gifts in Billy's memory may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association, 5171 Glenwood Ave Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27612.
