Dateline: Williamston

Mr. Wesley Dale Cratt, a lifelong resident of Williamston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Nash General Hospital.

A celebration of Dale's life will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, February 17, 2025, at Sweet Home Church of Christ with Pastor Clifford Britton officiating, burial follow at Cratt Family Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Henry Knight, Dylan Harrison, Reid Harrison, Greg Knox, Michael Leggett, Steven Edwards.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Dale was born in Bethel on July 21, 1959, to the late Seth Wesley Cratt and Peggy Wynn Cratt.  He was a member of the Sweet Home Church of Christ, past member of the Bear Grass Fire Department and a retired truck Driver.

Survivors include; his son, Wesley Shaun Cratt of Williamston: daughters, Brandy Nicole Phelps (Scott) of Goldsboro and Caitlin Bailey Cratt (Jon) of Williamston; sister, Lucille C Dunlow of Windsor; brothers, Redmon Cratt and Garland Cratt (Tammy) both of Williamston; and grandchildren, Mercedes Harmon, Kaydence Matthews, Wesley Matthews, Holly Wells and Jace Wells.
