Wave White, 93 of May Ln., died Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Three Rivers Health and Rehabilitation.

Wave was born on September 19, 1929, in Bertie County to the late Wakefield and May Harrison White. He retired as a maintenance worker, having worked for Sunbeam, West Point Pepperell, and Carolina Aluminum. Wave was a member of Askewville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by brothers, Carl, and Warren White.

Survivors include; wife, Mary Alice Holder White of the home; daughter, Rhonda W. McClenney (Wilbert) of Merry Hill; grandchildren, Bryce McClenney (Jessica) of Cary, Holden McClenney (Brittany) of Windsor; great grandchildren, Henry McClenney, Charlotte McClenney, and Rhett McClenney.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Askewville Baptist Church with Rev. Zack Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church, and other times from the home.
