William Claude White 46, of Askewville Road, died Saturday September 28, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. He was born in Bertie County June 5, 1973 to Ann W. White and the late William Gilbert White. Claude was a member and Deacon of Askewville Baptist Church. An avid hunter, he was a member of the Windsor Gun Club and the Roanoke and Tar River Gun Club. He coached little league baseball for 30 years and loved to watch NASCAR and baseball with his son. He was employed by the Bertie County School System as a carpenter.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Askewville Baptist Church. Rev. Zach Hicks will officiate. Burial in Edgewood Cemetery will follow the service.

Survivors include his wife, Angela White White; son Justin Claude White both of the home; mother, Ann W. White of Windsor; sister, Phyllis White and brother, Allen White (Eva) all of Windsor; niece, Alyssa Revels; nephews, Cody and Hunter (Ashlyn) White, Holden Dozier, Josh and Caleb Morris and Trey Revels.

The family will receive friends Monday September 30, 2019 from 6-7:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home and from their home at other times.
