Troy Sadler Selby 83, of Holly Springs Church Road, passed away Saturday May 18, 2024, at the Carrolton in Plymouth surrounded by his family. He was born in Beaufort County on October 16, 1940, to the late Daniel Ottis and Edna Jane Sadler Selby and was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Selby; daughter, Penny Selby; son, Brad Selby; sister, Jackie Sadler; brothers, Talmadge, Ben, Ottis, Ray, Hal and Roy Selby.

Troy was a member of Macedonia Christian Church. He retired from the Town of Williamston as the supervisor of public works. He was an active member of the Skewarkee Masons Lodge #90.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Macedonia Christian Church. Rev. Greg Sexton will officiate. Burial will follow with Masonic Rights in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time at the church or from the home of his sister Polly Davis, 114 Styons Road, Plymouth, NC.

Survivors include his sisters, Metta Davis of Belhaven, Polly Davis of Plymouth, Karen Loes of Raeford; grandson Will Cosper and wife Beth and great grandson Hulet Cosper.
