Thomas Ray Whitehurst, 70 of Prison Camp Rd., died Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at his home.

Thomas was born on August 16, 1951, to the late Thomas Russell and Mary Clyde Bowen Whitehurst. He had worked many years as a mechanical engineer at the Naval Shipyard in Newport News, Va. and owned TRW Tree Service in Hampton, Va.  Thomas attended Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include; son, Christopher Whitehurst.

Memorial services will be held on August 7, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Walker Chapel with Rev. Tim Bowen officiating.
