Thomas "TW" Walton White, 83 of Karo White Road, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at his home. He was born in Bertie County, August 14, 1941, to the late Jesse Walton and Lillie Mae Williams White, and was predeceased by his wife, Beth Layton White, sister, Linda White Harden and brother, David White. TW was retired from the New Port News Shipyard. He was the supervisor of the Nuclear Pipefitters. TW was a member of Merry Hill Baptist Church. He loved to hunt, fish, farm and play cards with friends and family.

Funeral  services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Merry Hill Baptist Church. The Revs. Charles Swanner and Stanley Nixon will officiate. The burial will be family only due to limited space.

Survivors include daughters, Lisa White Willis (Forest) of Davie, FL, Susan White Swain (David) of Pantego, Betsy White Thompson (Jamie) of Plymouth, Angela White of Merry Hill, and Karen White Burnett (Shawn) of Merry Hill; sisters, Carol W. Hopkins of Newport News, VA; brother, Gene White of Raleigh; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 6-7:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home and from his home at other times.
