Thomas Lee Cunningham, 36 of Blackhorse Run, died Monday, August 21, 2023, at Carolina East Medical Center.

Thomas was born on November 17, 1986, in Pitt County to Ruby Baker and the late Johnny Lee Cunningham. He was a tree cutter with Tripp's Tree Service and a fisherman. He loved fishing.

Survivors include his mother, Ruby Farrar of Robersonville; sons, Noah Lee Cunningham of Cove City, Bryson Cunningham of Reelsboro and Kayson Ryan Cunningham of Reelsboro; brothers, Johnny Lee Cunningham, Jr. (Nancy) of Wilson and Matthew Edward Cunningham of Robersonville; step-brother, Joshua Skinner of Arapahoe; step-sister, Ariel Skinner of Arapahoe.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Chapel with Nancy Cunningham officiating.
