Teresa Lamm Davis, 63, of Merry Hill, NC passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 in her home, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Davis was born in Nash County on October 27, 1955 to the late Bobby and Frances Lamm. Growing up around Rocky Mount, she worked for Hardee's Food Systems until she met the love of her life and moved to Bertie County. She worked in personnel management for Chowan Hospital, then stayed at home with her two children before joining the Perdue Farms family for twenty years.

She was a faithful member of Cashie Baptist Church where she was a member of the Woman's Missionary Union. She also taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. She was an avid supporter and volunteer for the American Heart Association and the ALS Association.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years , Russ Davis, and their children, Brad Russell Davis of Raleigh, and Jenna Frances Davis of Raleigh, and her sister, Brenda Lamm Boone, husband Rudy, of Nashville, NC.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, at Walker Funeral Home, from 6-8, and services will be held at Cashie Baptist Church, Wednesday, at 11.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Cashie Baptist Church and all of the friends and caregivers who provided them so much help and comfort.
