Tammy Annette Scott Whitfield, 48 of NC 903, died on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

Tammy was born on April 18, 1975, in Martin County to Hazel Anne Davis Scott and the late Christopher Scott. She was a homemaker. Tammy was preceded in death by her sister Sarah Faye Snyder.

Survivors include; husband, Dustin Whitfield of Oak City; daughters, Kimberly Dunlow (Brandon) of Williamston and Sarah Taffer (Hunter) of Jamesville; brothers, Walter Ray Scott of Winterville, and Jimmy Scott of Oak City; grandchildren, Christopher Taffer, Madalynn Taffer, Jeremy Dunlow, Andrew Dunlow and Lucas Dunlow.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Hamilton Cemetery with Larry Stevens officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery and other times at 1060 Jim Manning Rd., Williamston, NC.
