Susan Taylor White, 70 of Williamston and formally of Midway, died October 5, 2022 at ECU Beaufort Hospital Washington.

Susan was born on July 19, 1952 in Bertie County to the late Howard Perry White and Viola Mae Taylor White. She was a graduate of Bertie High School where she lettered in track and was a cheerleader. She graduated from Peace College with an Associates Degree and then from Appalachian State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Susan worked briefly in Boone as a belt maker.  She loved the mountains, nature, the beach, and was a talented artist. In addition to her parents Susan was predeceased by one brother, Greg White.

Survivors include: one uncle, Gary Taylor (Jackie) of Goldsboro; one niece, Holly White of Norfolk, VA; and one sister in-law, Janice C. White of King, NC.

Susan will be laid to rest beside her parents in Capehart's Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the following: Michael Rouse with Martin County DSS for his professional care, love, and concern. The staff at The Vintage Inn of Williamston for their many years of love, care, and dedication to Susan. And last, but not least, the staff of The Carrolton of Williamston for their more recent care and love.
