Susie devoted her life to her family, her church, and her community. She had a servant's heart, taking care of everyone else before herself. She was famous and well-known for her congo squares. She made many, many batches and delivered to friends, family, the sick/elderly, Williamston Fire Department, and countless others. She mailed cards to everyone for every occasion. She had her very own cookies and cards ministry. She was also a faithful blood donor for many years.
Susie loved being outside, mowing grass and working in her flowers. She had the best farmer's tan!! She had a true love for her Dr Peppers, Nabs and Dew Kiss chapstick!! She loved to sit back in her recliner, wrapped up in a heated blanket, drinking a Dr Pepper, & watching Hallmark movies. If she was not watching a Hallmark movie, she was reading or doing word searches.
The family will receive family & friends at the home of Janet Corey, 2677 Arthur Corey Rd, Williamston.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Roberson Chapel Church, Bear Grass Fire Dept., Williamston Fire/Rescue, or BeGenKIND.org.
