Stephen Ray Swain, 72 of Prison Camp Rd., died Monday February 1, 2021 at Martin General Hospital.

Mr. Swain was born on May 31, 1948 in Martin County to the late Elmer Haywood and Allena Farmer Swain. He worked in construction building bridges and tunnels. He was preceded in death by his son Stephen Ray Swain and sister Doris Swain Knudsen.

Survivors include his daughter, Karen Swain of Indiana; sisters, Betty Leary of Williamston and Margie Swain Farmer of Greenville; grandchildren, two.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Bowen Family Cemetery with Rev. Roger Leggett officiating.
