Stanley Jackson "Beamer" Hoggard 63, of Askewville passed away at ECU Medical Center in Greenville on November 3, 2024. He was born in Bertie County on April 24, 1961 to Donald Ray and Rebecca Thomas Hoggard. He attended Bertie County Schools and on July 31, 1981 he married the former Sheri Cobb. Stanley worked as a logger for 20 years with W.R. White incorporated. He loved fishing and doing mechanical work.

Stanley is survived by his parents, Donald and Rebecca Hoggard; loving wife, Sheri Hoggard of Askewville; daughter, Christina of Askewville; three grandchildren, James Lynn Brooks, Jackson Ray Brooks, Mason Gray Brooks all of Askewville; one great grandchild, Michael Stanley Brooks of Askewville; and sister, Shirley H. Lee of Windsor.

A memorial service will be held at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Windsor on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Webb Hoggard officiating. The visitation will follow after the service and other times at the home.
