Shirley Nelson Bridgers, 85 of Gatlin St., died Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at The Carrolton of Williamston.

Shirley was born on February 14, 1937 in Greene County to the late Lester and Bessie Potter Nelson. She was a homemaker. Shirley loved to sing and cook.

Survivors include; sons, Ricky Baker (Sandra) of Williamston, Jerry Baker (Cindy) of Wake Forest, Johnny Baker (Delores) of Anderson, SC, Kenneth Warren of Nashville, TN, John Reams of Rocky Mount, and Joe Reams of Rocky Mount.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Martin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Phillip Boseman officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM, at the funeral home.
