Shelby Farless White, 86, of Exter Road, passed away Thursday December 22, 2022, at Three Rivers Health Care in Windsor. She was born in Bertie County October 14, 1936 to the late Roy and Millie Cullipher Farless and was predeceased by her husband, Franklin White; sons, Terry Franklin White and Roy Herman White; brother, Leroy Farless; grandchildren, De Anna Spain and Frankie Spain. Shelby had worked with Stevenson Crab Co, June Day and as a CNA at Winston Park Rest Home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the Walker Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the White Family Cemetery on Wakelon Road.

Survivors include her daughters, Pamela White Jernigan (Burgess), Sue White Byrum (Ashley) all  of Colerain, Christy White Medford of Roxobel; sisters, Blanche White of Merry Hill, Mary Ann Castellow (Lloyd) of Windsor; brother, Bob Farless of Windsor; grandchildren, Brian White (Laura), Scott White (Crystal), Brad White (Marina), Lucas Spain (Syedsn), Renee Jernigan, Jeana Jernigan, Brandon Fornes, Austin Medford, Jaden Medford; great grandchildren, Gavin White, Daniel White, Alyssa Leonard, Emily White, Jacob White,  Alyssa Spain, Emmalee Spain, Wilder Spain, Jackson Spain, Krista Sanders, Taylor Sanders, Thorne Sanders, Nickolus Sanders, Trevor Sanders, Ayden Mizelle; great great grandchildren, Cora and Kenzie.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 26 ^th from 6-7:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home and from the  home at other times.
