Sharon Price Mizelle, died February 6, 2023 at her residence on Askewville N. Railroad Street.

She was born on September 4, 1969 in Woodbourne, New Jersey to the late Maylon Price and Dorothy Bowen Price.

Sharon was a graduate of Deptford High School in Deptford, NJ and later graduated from Beaufort County Community College nursing program as a Registered Nurse. She worked for ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital until her health no longer allowed. Sharon married the love of her life on May 21, 2014, and she enjoyed camping, cruises, baking, and spending time with their grandkids for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Price. Survivors in addition to her wife include one daughter, Ashley Smith (Jason) of Colerain; one son, Daniel Casey (Katie Spivey) of Askewville; six grandchildren, Olivia Lassiter, Austin Lassiter, Corbin Lassiter, Charlotte Lassiter, Jameson Lassiter, and Ava Casey; five brothers, Charlie Price of Virginia Beach, Gary Kevin Price of West Deptford, NJ, Maylon Price of Lake Monticello, VA, and Dave Price of Hayden Heights, NJ.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Windsor. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
