Sharon Mizelle Daniels 58, of School Road, died Monday January 28, 2018 at Vidant Bertie Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hertford County September 29, 1960 to Virgie Jernigan Mizelle and the late Vernon Mizelle.  "Grandma Froot" as she was known by her grandchildren was a member of Askewville Baptist Church.  She was employed by the Bertie County Schools in food service.

Funeral services will be held Thursday January 31, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Chapel. Rev. Chris Lee and Rev. George Daniels will officiate.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Keith "Froot" Daniels of the home; daughter, Magan D. Harmon and husband, Bobby of Windsor; mother, Virgie Jernigan of Windsor; mother-in-law Margaret Daniels Oder; sisters, Hope Taylor and husband, J. Frank of Merry Hill, Raycine York and husband Alvin of Windsor; brother, Monroe Mizelle and wife Foye of Windsor; grandchildren, Colin Lewis, Eli Harmon, Ashley Harmon, Alex Harmon, Aydan Harmon.

The family will receive friends Thursday January 31th at Walker Funeral Home from 1-2 PM before the service and from the home at other times. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930 Wellness Drive #8, Greenville, NC 279834.
