Ruth Thomas Roberson, 62 of Dodge City Lane, died Monday, October 9, 2023, at Tidal Health in Seaford, DE.

Ruth was born on December 23, 1960, in Bertie County, to the late Saint Paul and Lucille Taylor Thomas. She was retired as a teacher's assistant with Martin County Schools, she had worked at Martin General Hospital as a CNA. She has an associate degree in early childhood development. Ruth was a member of the Hamilton Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved to fish, go camping, do crafts, loved puzzles and riding motorcycles. She helped with the Cashie Youth Dream Team and loved her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, William Thomas and sister, Shirley Moses.

Survivors include; husband, Sammy Roberson of the home, whom she married on November 28, 1980; son, Dakota Roberson (Keagan) of Robersonville; daughters, Mandy Passalacqua (Vincenzo) of Robersonville, Stacey Dail (Jonathan) of Robersonville, Clarissa Roberson of Robersonville, Megan Copenhaver of Robersonville, Mean Roberson of Robersonville, Jessica Thigpen of Robersonville, La'shauna Howell of Robersonville; brothers, Cecil Taylor (Leona) of Robersonville; sisters, Shelby Baker (Noah) of Gold Point, Betty Ann Squires (Guy) of Gold Point, and Paulette Moore of Tarboro; Grandchildren, Emilia Passalacqua, Alessandra Passalacqua, Ambra Passalacqua, Liam Dail , Ainsley Dail and Nate Dail.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Gold Point Church of Christ with Chris Minton and Jonathan Dail officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens. The following are serving as pallbearers, Justin Leggett, Thad Roberson, Paul Manning, Shamar Williams, William Manning, Brooks Horn, Jaden Taylor, Honorary Jaun Rameriz.

The family will receive friends Friday evening at the church from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and other times from the home.
