Roy "Rat" Eubanks Jr. age 84, a resident of South King St. Windsor, died Wednesday September 23, 2020 at his residence following a brief illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Chris Lee officiating.  Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Stanley Roberson, Dee Eubanks, Tony Eubanks, Stacey Smith, Zack Eubanks, and David Pomeroy will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be his great grandson Connor Roberson.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Walker Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:30 PM and other times at the home.

Mr. Eubanks was born on October 8, 1935 in Jones County to the late Elisha Leroy Eubanks and Texan Hoggard Eubanks. He later married the former Elsie Gail Leggett who preceded him in death. Mr. Eubanks was a bulldozer operator with Williams Farms & Construction and also served as a volunteer fireman with the Windsor Fire Department.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by two brothers, Bobby, and Clifford Eubanks. Survivors include two sons, David Eubanks and wife Robin of Jamesville and William "Bill" Keith Eubanks of Williamston; one daughter, Sissy Eubanks Roberson of Williamston and one brother, Ronald Eubanks of Windsor; four grandchildren, Stanley Roberson, Dee Eubanks, Laura Eubanks, Lynn Eubanks; four great grandchildren, Connor Roberson, Layla Arrants, Jayden Johnson, and Lucas Eubanks; three step-grandchildren, Jenna Scott, Jessica Smith, and David Pomeroy. Other survivors include eight step-great grandchildren.
