Ms. Rose Marie Leggett Bryant, a resident of  Windsor, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, in Woodstock, GA. on June 15, 2024.

Ms. Bryant was born In Durham on July 10, 1944 to Nellie Whitehurst Leggett, and Dennis Harris Leggett Sr., who preceded her in death. She attended Martin County Schools and on August 29, 1958 married George C. Bryant who also preceded her in death.  Ms. Bryant was a loving mother, grandmother, and member of Askewville Assembly of God, where she was active with the Women's Mission, but her passion was children, and she provided in-home care for many children in the community for many, many years.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Harris Leggett Jr. Survivors include three daughters: Ellen (Jed) Hughes of Merry Hill, Carol (Dannie) Baisey of Woodstock, GA, and Jane (Alan) Cobb of Cumming, GA; also surviving are seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

A celebration of her life will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2024 in the Chapel of Walker Funeral Home, with Webb Hoggard officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home, and at other times at Ms. Bryant's home on White Oak RD.
