Mrs. Ronda Nester Norris, age 73, passed away on December 12, 2023, at Rex UNC Hospital.

Mrs. Norris was born in Surry County on January 14, 1950 to the late Frank and Brownie Nester.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She was a passionate supporter and advocate for children's rights and animal welfare.

Ronda enjoyed spending time listening to music, watching quiz shows, playing games, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Larry T. Norris, son Frank T. Norris, daughter-in-law Lisa C. Norris and granddaughter Mila and Runa Norris.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her daughter, Sara Robin Norris.

A  memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, January 6th, 2023 at Walker Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
