Robert Lewis Price, 54, of Ahoskie, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, at ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital. Robert was born in Windsor on August 16, 1971, to the late George Herman and Martha Gillam Price. Always working with his hands, he spent his early days working with Gillam Brothers Peanuts, and later his company P2 Construction. Robert loved to help where help was needed and did so for many years as a fireman with Windsor Volunteer Fire Department. Most recently he was an Electrical Foreman for Team Fishel in Hampton, Virginia. Robert loved all things outdoors, from riding horses and side-by-sides to hunting and fishing with his children.

Survivors include his children, Hatcher (Allie) and Hannah Price; brother George Herman Price Jr. (Pam); sister Lee Lawrence (Mac); nieces and nephews Courtney Davis (Steven), Rob Deans (Amanda), Scott Hoggard (Shelley), Jessica Dail (Brian), Jodie Walter (Zack), as well as several great-nieces and nephews. Robert was also blessed with his close friends-turned-family Brad, Jeana, Slade, Baylee, and Stella Cowan.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 9, 2026 at Walker Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 7:30  PM.

A private ceremony will occur at a later date.
