Robert Dale Bland, 57 of Airport Rd. died Saturday February 12, 2022.

Dale was born on March 15, 1964, in Martin County to Laura Roberson Bland and the late Robert Earl Bland. He was a self-employed auto body technician and a carpenter. He loved to fish. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his son Robert Dale Bland, II.

Survivors include; mother, Laura Bland of Williamston; daughters, Madison Bland Toader (Sorin) of Norfolk, VA, and Katelynn Bland of Bethel; sister, Sheila Willis (Glenn) of Madison, MS; former wife, Kimberley Lester of Bethel; nephew, Zack Willis; grandchildren, Jaxon, Liam and Brody Toader, Natallie, and Paisley Bland.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Walker Chapel with Cecil Elks and Ben Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home and other times from the home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Walker Funeral Home, P.O. Box 456, Windsor, NC  27983 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
