Richard Livingston Smith, 70 of Prison Camp Rd. died Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Martin General Hospital.

Richard was born on October 15, 1951, in Washington County, to the late Wilbur and Della Taylor Smith. He was a retired truck driver with AAA Cooper in Washington. Richard attended Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include his wife, Joni Barnhill Smith of the home; son, Richard Ryan Smith (Regina) of Williamston; daughter, Brandi Smith of Williamston; brothers, Paul Smith of Williamston, Tommy Smith of Chocowinity, Norman Smith of Williamston, and Sammy Smith of Grimesland; sister, Donna Mason of Washington; grandchildren, Harley Smith, Laura Smith, Max Smith, and Jordyn Smith.

A private burial will be held on Wednesday in the Smith Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, September 6, 2022, at Walker Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM and other times from the home.
