Rebecca "Becky" Pennington Beach 64, of Horse Pen Swamp Road passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, at ECU Beaufort Hospital with her husband by her side.

Rebecca was born October 13, 1961, in West Jefferson, North Carolina to Reba Phillips Pennington and William Pennington. Rebecca graduated from high school and went to college to become an LPN Nurse. She later married the love of her life Johnny Ray Beach on July 11, 2002, and they were married for twenty-three years. Rebecca loved nursing and retired in April 2025. She also loved spending time with her family, reading, painting, cooking and collecting frogs.

Rebecca was predeceased by her parents,  and her brother, Mike Pennington. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Beach, and son, Cody Jordan Beach of Washington; and one sister, Nancy Pennington of West Jefferson, NC; and her sister-in-law Sandy Pennington of Yadkinville, NC.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday December 30, 2025, in the Walker Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the same location. A private burial will be held later.
