Ray McDonald Hoggard, Jr, 52 of Hamilton Street, died Tuesday July 2, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. He was born in Hertford County, February 2, 1967 to Dorothy Burkett and Ray McDonald (Don) Hoggard, Sr. who survive. Ray was an installer with the Hughes Network.

Funeral services will be held Saturday July 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Chapel by Rev. Eddie Coltrain. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.

Other survivors include a sister, Sharon Newton and husband Billy of Roanoke-Rapids, NC and a brother, Michael Wayne Hoggard and wife Elaine of Hillsboro, MD.

The family will receive friends Saturday July 6th from 1-2 PM at Walker Funeral Home and following the graveside service at the home of Doc and Ann Haiship at 1424 Cooper Hill Road, Windsor.
