Date line: Colerain, NC

Randy Delford Cobb, 73 of Bess Landing Road, Colerain, died August 29, 2024, at Chowan River Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Edenton. Randy was born on March 9, 1951, to the late Deford Willie Cobb and Jesse Matthews Cobb.  He is also preceded by his wife, Kathy Denise Cobb; sister, Bonnie Brown and brother, Robbie Cobb.  Randy loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and found much joy in tinkering on cars and boats.  He liked to fish and was very fond of racing and truck pulls.

A memorial service will be held, Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Windsor, NC. Willie Davis will be officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at the home of Randy Cobb at 204 Bess Landing Road, Colerain.

Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Cobb Riggins of Windsor and Randi Dawn Layton (Michael) of Columbia, SC; son, Christopher Willie Cobb (Kylee) of Stumpy Point, NC; sister, Freda Jernigan of Edenton; brother, Joe Cobb (Jean) of Askewville; grandchildren, Gracie "Punkin" Mizelle, Trent "Big Man" Mizelle, Raegan, Aubree, and Beau "The Babies" Cobb, and Baby Boy Layton (soon to come).
