Randall Keith Modlin, 67 of Mill Rd., died Monday, January 29, 2024, at ECU Inpatient Hospice.

Randall was born on January 9, 1957, in Martin County, to the late Andrew Jackson and Esther Beecham Modlin. He was a self-employed painter. Randall loved music, he loved to sing and dance. He also loved watching westerns, Carolina Basketball and NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his sisters Esther Duckwall and Bet Modlin.

Survivors include; lifetime partner of 21 years, Lisa Mobley of Jamesville, daughters, Jessica Hopkins (George) of Belhaven, Magon Modlin (Brian) of Belhaven and Dale Clifton (Tyler) of Jamesville; brothers, Danny Modlin of Williamston, and Doug Modlin of Williamston; sisters, Brenda Wells of Williamston, Judy Roberson of Hamilton, and Linda Edmondson of Williamston; grandchildren, five.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel of Williamston with Rev. Roger Leggett officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and other times from the home.
