On Friday, July 22, 2022, after a long struggle, Quillie Levie Jones, 51 succumbed to his illness.

Quillie was born on October 24, 1970, in Bertie County to Linda Joyce Jackson Wheeler and the late Quillie Levie Jones, Sr. He was a mechanic with Swain & Temple. He enjoyed taking his grandkids fishing and grilling.

Survivors include; mother, Linda Joyce Wheeler of the home; son; Andrew Miller of Plymouth; daughters, Amber Jones of Plymouth, Gracie Jones of Wilson, Brittany, and Katelyn Jones; sister; Gibbie Lynn Keel of Aurora; stepdaughters, Tiffany Phelps, and Shaina Clifton of Plymouth; grandchildren, Gavin Jones, Vanessa Miller, Zar Jackson and Olivia Carajal.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
