Peggy Thomas Anders, 85, of South King Street, passed away at her home, October 13, 2022. She was born in Windsor, NC August 10, 1937, to the late Claude Allen and Maggie Mizelle Thomas and was predeceased by a son, Clyde M. Anders, Jr; two sisters, Jean Mizelle and Mary Lou Anders; and two daughters-in-law, Rosa W. Anders and Betty H. Anders. Peggy was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. She graduated from Windsor High School and loved to cook. Her passion in life was being a wife, mother, and loving grandmother.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Walker Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Alan Mizelle will officiate. There will be a private burial following the service.

Survivors include her husband, Clyde Monroe Anders, Sr. of the home; daughter, Brenda A. Mizelle (Al), sons, Danny Anders, and Alex Anders (Tammy) all of Windsor; nine grandchildren;  Billy, David, Steven, Eric, Rebecca, Matt, Blake Anders, Chris, and Morgan Mizelle; seven great grandchildren.
