Paula Lynn Phelps, age 57 of Raleigh, NC passed away peacefully on June 3, 2022, at Duke Raleigh Hospital.

Paula was born in Chowan County on January 28, 1965 to the late Woodrow Wilson Phelps and Joyce Ann Phelps who survives. She worked as an exterminator, and in her spare time loved fishing, working on cars, spending time in the mountains, and UNC.

She is survived by her mother, Joyce Ann Phelps of Merry Hill; two sisters, Phyllis Ann Phelps of Windsor, and Kimberly Jo Phelps of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Michael Woodrow Phelps of Fayetteville, Eddie Dean Phelps of Virginia Beach, and Anthony Quinn Phelps of Winterville; and special canine companions: Bandit, and Dana.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 13th at Hillcrest Cemetery in Colerain, with Pastor Mike Phelps officiating.
