Dateline- Colerain

Mr. Paul Sutton Pierce 84, a resident of Colerain, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning April 6, 2025. Paul was born March 9, 1941, to the late Mary Pierce and Aquila Jacob Pierce. Paul worked with Lea Lumber Company for 42 years and a warehouse manager for 12 years. He was a member at Askewville Assembly of God and enjoyed fishing and baseball.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Aquila; his wife, Carol Jean Pierce; a son, Timothy Pierce; daughter in-law, Jean Copeland Pierce; two sisters: Doris Pearl Pierce, Maise P. Bowman; six brothers: David Cola Pierce, Raleigh Edward Pierce, Aquila Jacob Pierce, Hugh Richard Pierce, Lewis Lee Pierce and William Henry Pierce.

Paul is survived by sons: Kent Pierce, Michael Pierce; three grandchildren: Jacob Pierce, Ellie Pierce and Angela Pierce;  a sister, Mary Rose Thorne, and brother, John W. Pierce.

A graveside service will be held at Edgewood Cemetery on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM, with Webb Hoggard and Randy Pierce officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside and other times at the home on Thursday.
