Pamela Smith Simmons 46 of Old US 17 North, died Saturday June 8, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. She was born in Bertie May 21, 1973.  Pam was a member of Askewville Assembly of God and a homemaker.  She was a devoted Christian, mother and wife as well as a great cook.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Askewville Assembly of God. Revs. R. O. Denton, Jr., David Baker and Buck Leary will officiate.Burial will follow in the Lawrence Family Cemetery Old US 17 North.

Survivors include her husband, J. Charles Simmons, Jr. of the home, daughters, Tori Simmons and Savannah Simmons both of Windsor; son, Justin Simmons of New Bern; mother and father, Martha and Don Jernigan of Tyner; sister, Theresa Copeland of Edenton; brother, Ken Smith of Gulf Port, MS.

The family will receive friends Monday June 10, 2019 from 6-7:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home and from the home at other times. Memorial gifts may be made to the Bertie County Relay for Life, PO Box 586, Windsor, NC 27983.
