Norman Lee White, Jr., of Grabtown Road, passed away, August 31, 2022, at his home.  He was born to Mary Copeland Beck and the late Norman Lee "Hinkie" White, February 10, 1962.  He was a member of Askewville Assembly of God and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He also served his country in the Army National Guard.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday September 2, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from the home of Willie and Bobbie Lynn White, 142 East Askewville Street, Windsor, NC following the graveside service.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Copeland Beck of Shallotte, NC; brothers, Willie White and Bobbie Lynn of Askewville, Jayson VanVliet and Donna of Rocky Point, NC, Eric VanVliet of Wilmington, NC; sister, Joyce White of Windsor; stepmother, Brenda White of Windsor; nieces, Breanna VanVliet, Amiee Debose, Danika VanVliet; nephews, Dallas White, Jayson VanVliet, Jr., Noah VanVliet; special care givers, ½ Pint and Bobby.
