Nathan Roberson Hurst, 36 of US Hwy 17, died Sunday, February 27, 2022.

Nathan was born on November 15, 1985, in Pitt County to Shirley Ann Reason Hurst and the late Don Roberson Hurst. He was a carpenter. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Constance Marie Hurst; long time soul mate, Jessica Carmen Mason; his paternal grandparents, Charles and Christine Hurst and maternal grandparents, Betty Clark and Mack Reason.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Ann Reason Hurst of Williamston; daughter, Eason Raye Melton of Tarboro; brother, Gilbert Hurst of Williamston.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Walker Chapel with Rev. Jim Cox officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times from his mother's home, 2895 Everetts Rd., Williamston, NC.
