Nancy Louise Williams, 79, of Hwy NC 42 passed away peacefully  at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Hertford County on January 1, 1945, to the late Albert Mitchell and Harriett W. Williams and was predeceased by two daughters, Cynthia Williams and Connie Williams Askew and a brother John Williams. She was a member of the Fresh Fire Assembly of God in Roanoke-Rapids.  Nancy was a certified nursing assistance. She loved to do crafts and crochet.

A funeral service will be Wednesday. April 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Chapel in Windsor. Rev. Chris Howerton will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie, NC.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Charles Williams of the home; daughters, Phyllis W. Howerton and husband, Chris of Rich Square, Josie W. Joyner and husband David of Colerain; son in law Jerry Askew of Windsor; grandchildren, Dianne Snyder (Jessie) Timothy Askew, David Joyner, Elizabeth Joyner, Carolyn Howerton, Jessica Douglas (Parker), Christopher Howerton; great grandchildren, Thomas Snyder, Connie Sue Snyder, Braven Douglas; honorary grandchildren, Nathan Hughes, Matthew Joyner and Michael Joyner.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 24th from 1:00 PM until service time at Walker Funeral Home or from the home at other times.
