Mildred Lorraine Lassiter Haislip 91, of Highway 125, died Wednesday January 16, 2019 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born March 11, 1927 to the late Willie Lee and Clara Mizelle Lassiter and was predeceased by her husband, William Lonnie Haislip; sons Ronald and Kenneth Haislip: sisters, Maxine Rowe and Marjorie Lassiter and a brother, Bill Lassiter.  Mildred was a lifelong and active member of the Community Christian Church.  She retired from IGA as a cashier.

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 19, 2019, 3 PM at Community Christian Church.  Dale Minton and Daniel Voris will officiate.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughters; Brenda McKeel of Williamston, Joann Kirkman (Tommy) of Wilson; sons William  L. Haislip, Jr. of Williamston, Donald "Doc" Haislip (Ann) of Windsor; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday January 19 ^th from 1:30 pm until 3:00pm at Community Christian Church and from the home at other times.  Memorial gifts may be made to Community Christian Church, 22184 NC 125 Hwy, Williamston, NC 27892.
