Michael "Mike" Thomas White, 64, of White Oak Road, passed away at his home on July 16, 2023. He was born in Bertie County, October 18, 1958, to Jesse Thomas "J. T." and Alma Ray White. Mike loved to fish and hunt in his younger years. He was an artist and enjoyed drawing and painting landscapes.

A private burial will be held in Edgewood Cemetery.

Other survivors include his brother, Ronnie Joe White of the home; two nephews, Daniel Paul White and Bryan Christopher White and his wife and son, Katelyn and Bradley Weston White; aunts, Frances Davis and Joyce Bullock.
