It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Michael David Alexander, age 71, who passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday,  July 13, 2026.

Born to Mary Moffatt Alexander and Leonard Alexander on January 14, 1955, in Aurora, Colorado, Michael served his country in the U.S. Army and worked as an equipment operator for Stimson Lumber, in Bonner MT, he later worked for Saguache County Landfill, in Saguache, CO until his retirement in 2021. On January 9, 2021, Michael married Hester Ann Peterson Triplett, and would soon enjoy his happy retirement years in Windsor, NC.

Survivors include: His loving wife, Hester Ann Triplett, daughters: Jennifer Alexander, Missoula, MT, Rebecca Higgins of Lexington, SC, Catherine Alexander, Kalispell, MT and son Chris Alexander, of Wasilla, AK; as well as their mother, Antoinette Labelle, of Missoula, MT; and step-son, William Triplett of Flagstaff AZ.  Other survivors include: two brothers: Larry Alexander, of Anacortes, WA, and Steve Alexander, of St. Peters, MO.

Per his wishes his body will be cremated. There will be a service, and inurnment in the cemetery near his parents back home.
