Melinda Howard Kerr, 72 passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025 at Windsor House Assisted Living surrounded by the love of her family.

Melinda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose kindness and work ethnic left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She spent most of her life working in the hospitality industry, where her warm smile and her generous spirit brought comfort and joy to countless people.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jamie Kerr, her two sons; Devin Kerr (Iris) and Justin Kerr Meagan; and her cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Sophia Kerr. Her family was her greatest pride and joy.

Melinda found beauty in the simplest moments of life. Even in her final days, a ray of sunshine on her face was enough to remind her life was good.

A private ceremony will be held at the family's local church. The date will be shared with close friends and family at a later time.

In Lieu of flowers, the family encourages quiet acts of kindness in Melinda's memory-something she lived by every day.
