Maxine Rogers, 91, of Williamston passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in her daughter's home in Bear Grass, NC. She was born in Beaufort County, June 6, 1930, to Henry Marion and Hattie Mae Bailey Roberson. She was preceded in death by her husband Roland Rogers, two sons Donnie Rogers and Steve Rogers.

She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Williamston for many years, she truly loved her church. She was employed by Carolina Telephone for thirty years. Maxine was the mother of ten children she loved dearly and who loved her dearly, Donnie Rogers, Steve Rogers, Melinda Whitehurst and husband Donnie, Ken Rogers and wife Kathy, Judy Batts, and husband Bebo, Jeff Rogers, Susie Bullock and husband Keith, Mike Rogers, Andy Rogers and wife Kristi, Amy Mohn, and husband Mike. Grandchildren Krisite Howell, Kirk Rogers and Stephen Taylor, Caroline Synakowski, Paul Bryant, Christopher Bryant, Bob Whitehurst, Suzanne Wilkerson, Whitney Rogers, Kyle Rogers (deceased), Lacey Batts, Drew Batts, Coti Saleh, Adrienne Howell, Ashley Andres, Arynn Hamlin, Harley Rogers, Hunter Coward, Jordan Coward, Hali McCord, Matt Mohn and twenty-six great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 3:00 PM in Martin Memorial Gardens.
