Mary Lou Wilson Hoggard, 83, of Wakelon Road, passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Vidant Bertie Hospital.  She was born in Chowan County November 18, 1937 to the late Everett and Louise Deans Wilson and predeceased by her husband, Mark Daniel Hoggard, Sr.  Mary Lou was a member of Askewville Assembly of God and a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Askewville Assembly of God.  Rev. R. O. Denton, Jr., and Rev. Roger Leggett will officiate. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery in Windsor.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah H. Tinkham and husband Tommy; sons Mark Hoggard, Jr., and wife Amanda all of Colerain and Mike Hoggard and wife, Vicky of Merry Hill; sister, Nancy Noble of Edenton; grandchildren, Michelle Chappell (Rodney), Wilson Hoggard, Daniel Tinkham (Brandy), Briana Cottle (Kevin), Trey Hoggard; great grandchildren, Chance and Madilyn Cottle, Elijah Chappell, and J. T. Tinkham.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 10 ^th at Walker Funeral Home from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and from the home at other times. Memorial gifts may be made to Askewville Assembly of God, 105 Askewville Bryant Street, Windsor, NC 27983.
