Mary Elizabeth Keel Torbert, 73 of Whichard Rd., died April 9, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center.

Mrs. Torbert was born on February 5, 1948 in Martin County to the late D.C. Keel and Nellie Faye Wynn Keel. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family and friends.

Survivors include; daughter, Marie Palmer of Washington; brother, Joe Keel of Williamston; sister, Trudy Manning of Greenville; grandchildren, Michael Beddard, Heather Beddard, Ryan Beddard and Kimberly Rogerson; great grandchildren, ten.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the Bethel cemetery with Dr. Rick Bailey officiating.. The family will receive friends following the service.
