Mary Catherine Drewry Jenkins, age 92 of Calvin Lane Williamston, NC.  died peacefully Sunday February 2, 2025 at her residence following a brief illness..

A memorial service will be held on Sunday February 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 14539 US Hwy 64 alternate Williamston NC 27892 with brother Ashley Thomas presiding. A private burial will take place at a later date beside her husband at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Rich Square, NC.

Mary Catherine was born on July 28, 1932 in Sedley, VA. to Samuel Blyth Drewry and Maggie Bell Joyner Drewry who have both preceded her in death. After her education she married Stanley Millard Jenkins who also preceded her in death. Mary Catherine and Stanley moved to Williamston in 1969 where she worked for Martin County Schools as a bus driver for many years and was a faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness of Williamston for over 60 years. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Crowley; and two brothers: Samuel Blyth Drewry and John Henry Drewry. Surviving is one sister Gwendolyn Best (John) of Courtland, VA.

Catherine loved preaching and talking to people about Jehovah God's Kingdom.
